Brooks Williams is a stunning blues-soaked, rhythmic, soulful guitarist, one of the most entertaining and engaging performers on the circuit today. On February 9th, music lovers can get the chance to meet the man behind the guitar when Williams comes to Rick’s Music World’s Café in Raynham to do a special concert & clinic.

More than just a concert, this event promises to be a mix of entertainment and revelation where he will openly engage the audience and share his creative process in an intimate environment. With only 100 tickets to be sold, chances are that Brooks will be able to unravel some of the mystery behind whatever question burns your soul, whether its about his musical journey or yours.

From coast-to-coast, country-to-country, Williams and his guitars roll and tumble like nobody’s business. His concerts are legendary: a constantly evolving mix of blues, originals, ballads, and instrumentals. His musical talent was best summed up when The Boston Globe said, “Whew, can that boy, play.”

Of all of his fans, nobody is more in awe of Brooks than Tom Irving of Taunton, who is a regular at Rick’s Open Mic and will be opening the show.

“Brooks truly loves what he does, not only does it shine though in his music, but you can hear it in his voice and see it in his smile,” says Tom, “and I was thrilled when Rick called me on New Year’s Eve and invited me to open for Brooks.” Says Rick, “I can easily say the same thing about Tom. We’re in for an uplifting evening, for sure! Tom started taking lessons at Rick’s about one year ago and just threw himself into it full steam. We’re really proud of him.” Says Tom, “I’m having the time of my life!”
